B.S. received her M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from G.N.D.U, Amritsar, India, supported by scholarship from the Department of Biotechnology. She received Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology from University of Tsukuba in 2014, supported by scholarship from Japan Student Service Organization and Mitsubishi (JEES). She then joined Prof. Aoki’s lab at Tokyo University of Science as a post-doctoral researcher. Currently, she is a specially appointed assistant professor at Nagasaki Lab. Her work focusses on the application and the mechanistic aspect of nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems for the therapeutics of oxidative stress- and metabolism-related diseases (in vitro and in vivo animal models). |
